Ħamrun Bayern B win direct clash to go on top
Ħamrun Bayern A won the top of the table clash against Qormi Hockey Club A to climb first in the MDA 8-a-side standings.
It was a well-contested match between two teams who were sharing the top spot of the table. As Ħamrun Bayern A were always in front, Qormi Hockey Club A always managed to restore parity although in the end it was the Ħamrun side who had their last laugh.
Floriana Ajax MCP A and Manchester Conquest Bar shared the spoils in an entertaining 44 scoreline while Ħamrun Education Bar and PO's Bar obtained the full three points after wins against Floriana Ajax MCP B and Sliema Inter DC.
In the second division, Qormi Hockey Club B strengthened their first place in the table after a 6-2 scoreline over Ħamrun Bayern B as the same result was witnessed in the match between Żurrieq FC and Top Gun with the latter gaining the three points.
Fgura Darts A maintained their second position in the table after a 5-3 results against Whyte Harte while Munchies Bar dominated the proceedings against B'Buġia St Peters to win 8-0.
In the third division, Qormi Hornets, St Pauls' Diamonds and Beland Bull's Eye obtained the same 5-3 scoreline over Education Ladies, Mqabba FC and Mqabba tal-Ġilju respectively.
