Birżebbuġa Lions hold Ħamrun Bayern A in entertaining duel

Birżebbuġa Lions managed to hold Hamrun Bayern A 4‐4 in an entertaining encounter from the MDA First Division.

The Southerners were always trailing against their opponents but always managed to equalize the score and take an important point for their standings as they are only five points away from the top.

Żejtun Laċċi Gold Lady are first in the table as they beat Sliema Lounge A 5‐3 while Floriana MCP registered the same score against PO's Bar.

Floriana Ajax Premier Cars achieved a great victory of 8‐0 against Hamrun Bayern B.

In the second division, Birgu Boċċi Club A are still first in the table after beating Beland Żejtun 5‐3.

Second‐placed Domus Men's maintained their consistency after winning against Zebbug Rangers 6‐2.

On the other hand, Duke's Bar remained in third place as they dominated the match against Leah's A so much so that they won 7‐1. Meanwhile, Cox Bar beat Top Gun 5‐3 to secure fifth place.

In the third division, Leah's Bar B continued to keep a point ad‐ vantage over their nearest rivals Żejtun Laċċi Maypole after beat‐ ing Domus Ladies 6‐2. Even Żejtun got three more points after a score of 5‐3 against Birgu Boċċi B.

In an interesting duel, Nicolo Isouard beat Munchies 5‐3 while there was an absolute balance in the game between Sliema Lounge B and Tal‐Balklor with the final score being 4‐4.
