EC and Dream Big Malta set to inspire local youth

-

On 1 September, Maltese-owned company EC English Language Centres proudly presents Dream Big Malta, a pioneering event that will bring together some of the island’s leading visionaries and entrepreneurs to share their stories with ambitious 16- to 30-yearold Maltese citizens who are looking to follow their dreams and aspire to succeed on an international scale.

Prominent figures in Sports, Hospitality, Business, Design and the Arts, will share their experiences and give practical advice about how to pave one’s way to personal success beyond Malta’s sun-kissed shores. Attendees will enjoy talks by inspirational speakers including world-class tenor Joseph Calleja, Corinthia Group chairman and CEO Alfred Pisani, budding Para-Olympian Ollie Mangion, creative entrepreneur Francis Sultana, operatic soprano Miriam Gauci and EC’s own executive chairman, Andrew Mangion among others.

The primary aim of the event is to inspire the younger generation to expand their horizons, dream bigger and turn those dreams into reality. To support this goal, EC is offering an incredible two-month internship (flights and accommo- dation covered) at any of EC’s language schools around the world. Attendees are encouraged to share their future goals and dreams by submitting an article or video to the Dream Big website to be in with a chance of earning this golden opportunity abroad.

The Dream Big Malta event is an integral part of EC’s 25th anniversary celebrations. From the family-run school’s entrepreneurial ambition, to the first tentative steps beyond Malta, EC has enjoyed teaching success while staying true to its values and continues to help students succeed in a global community.
