Local business leader receives honorary ambassador­ship

Angelo Xuereb was recently appointed Ambassador of Knowledge for the Life Learning Academia in Slovenia. This honour was presented to Mr Xuereb in view of his achievemen­ts and successes that have spanned decades. As an acknowledg­ed expert in the areas of entreprene­urship and hospitalit­y, Mr Xuereb brings a number of skills such as diligence, credibilit­y and ethics as well as a high level of knowledge that will undoubtedl­y benefit future generation­s.

As an Ambassador of Knowledge Mr Xuereb will meet students from the Academia and will be able to confer awards for a particular achievemen­t during their studies. “It is truly an honour as well as a responsibi­lity to accept such a title,” said Mr Xuereb. “I look forward to meeting with the students and mentoring them where possible,” he added. This honorary title was bestowed by the Minister of Economy, Slovenia, Dr Zdravka Pocivalsek, together with the Life Learning Academia director, Marjetka Kastner.

The Life Learning Academia is an organisati­on for certificat­ion, profession­al management and integratio­n processes in the field of knowledge. Among other Ambassador­s of Knowledge is Dr Edward De Bono who is a world renowned leader in Lateral Thinking.
