Bank of Valletta to organise a seminar about eTrader+ powered by Saxo Bank

-

Bank of Valletta announced that it is teaming up with Saxo Bank to organise a seminar for active traders interested in trading online using the recently launched eTrader+ powered by Saxo platform. The seminar will be held today at Xara Lodge at 6pm.

Speaking about the event, Kenneth Farrugia, chief Business Development officer at Bank of Valletta said: “eTrader+ presents important benefits for the active trader, such as the ability to place orders in real time across all major international markets, the possibility of effecting single limit as well as algorithmic or advanced orders. The platform also gives the user 24-hour access to market prices for more than 30,000 secu- rities.”

He went on to explain that the main objective in organising this seminar is to create more awareness about this platform among frequent equity traders, while giving them the opportunity to try out the tool and gaining access to wellversed experts that are coming from Saxo Bank specifically for this event.”

Christopher Dembik, head of Macro Analysis at Saxo Bank, will be giving an overview of the current economic scenario during his presentation. Mr Dembik is an active writer, who was awarded for the best economical predictions in France for Saxo Bank by Reuters last year. He is widely quoted internationally by influential busi- ness and financial media regarding macroeconomic trends, central bank policies, European economy and domestic economic policy.

The organisers are giving a lot of importance to the practical aspect of online trading and a Saxo Bank representative will provide a demonstration on the features of the platform. Participants will also have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the platform and have any concerns addressed there and then.

Participation is free of charge but limited seats are available on a first-come first-served basis. For bookings, one should contact Bank of Valletta on 2275 1732, email: stockbroking@bov.com
