First wedding at new Luzzu Complex

-

Malta has long been a dream honeymoon destination for foreigners but now our islands are becoming ever more popular with non-Maltese choosing our country, especially during the summer period, for their big day. Earlier in September, a couple from Northern Ireland, Laura and Kevin exchanged their vows at the new Luzzu venue in Qawra.

This was a special occasion not only for the wedding couple but also for the management and staff of Luzzu Complex, being the first marriage celebration since AX Hotels acquired this place. Around 40 people were invited to travel with the couple and they stayed at the recently renovated Seashells Resort at Suncrest, which is opposite Luzzu Complex. The couple, and those present at their wedding, had the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean since this venue is located by the water’s edge on the Qawra coastline.

The new hall at Luzzu Complex is a contemporary and fresh looking setting with one large area which can be divided into six separate rooms through a state of the art system. Unlike other venues found in Malta, this room forms part of a complex with a restaurant and a lido pool for adults only.

“This place is becoming a common spot with locals and foreigners when organising their private events, with the hall of the complex looking out on top of the pool deck while relishing the wonderful blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea”, said Joseph Vella, General Manager of Seashells Resort at Suncrest.

The size of this venue is 30 metres in length and 9 metres in width and it forms part of a big investment by AX Holdings to reestablish this complex in the North of Malta. This complex is open for people looking to organise all kinds of events, ranging from small board meetings, conferences and seminars to various types of weddings.
