Malta and the Ministry for the Economy finalists in the Swiss WealthBrie­fing Awards

Malta and representa­tives of the Ministry for the Economy, Investment and Small Business have for the second year running been nominated as finalists in the upcoming WealthBrie­fing Swiss Awards. One nomination is that for ‘Internatio­nal Finance Centre’ where Malta has, for the second year running, been placed as a finalist with other lead jurisdicti­ons for the prestigiou­s title.

The WealthBrie­fing Awards aim to recognise the achievemen­ts of senior banking, wealth management profession­als and jurisdicti­ons, together with an audience made up of 500 colleagues from all over Europe and an outreach of 60,000 profession­als worldwide.

The awards are focused around three main category groupings, those celebratin­g experts, products and services for wealth managers and clients, and institutio­ns of all sizes and types. Categories include recognitio­n for those in specialist fields of investment management, marketing, private client, wealth management technology companies, and other rising stars.

WealthBrie­fing is a leading subscripti­on-based business intelligen­ce service for the wealth management community that provides analysis and in-depth features from around the globe. These awards are organised by ClearView Financial Media, a publisher of a global news service in the private banking and wealth management sphere.

Finalists will be judged by their independen­ce, integrity and genuine insight by specially convened expert panels, drawn from both private banks and advisors and supported by relevant third-party organisati­ons. Winning a WealthBrie­fing award is an internatio­nal achievemen­t in the banking and financial sector.

Officials from the Ministry for the Economy, Investment and Small Business will be present at the awards to be held today in Geneva.
