BOV launches Card Promotion for Gozo Carnival Week

Bank of Valletta announced a brand new promotion for Carnival Week. This time, the Bank is setting up a prize fund of €2,500 to give away to ten cardholders, who use their BOV VISA cards at BOV POSs in Gozo.

The promotion is aimed to encourage more card holders to use their BOV cards for payments when shopping or dining out whilst in Gozo. Running between the 24th and the 28th February, participation is automatic. Cardholders earn a stake in the lottery by effecting a minimum transaction of €25, and a global spend of €100, with a BOV VISA card, at a BOV EPOS located in a Gozo establishment, during the promotion period Ten random card numbers from among the eligible card holders will be drawn on the 10th March 2017. The winners will receive a cash prize of €250 in their BOV account, once they give the correct answer to a skillbased question.

Announcing the promotion, Ivo Camilleri, Executive Electronic Banking at Bank of Valletta said that, “We are delighted to offer BOV card holders the possibility of winning cash back when paying with a BOV Visa card through a BOV EPOS at any Gozo establishment. Cards are widely recognised for providing both cardholders and merchants a safe, secure, and convenient way of paying and receiving payment.
