Photographic exhibition by local Sports Journalists Association

The Ghaqda Gurnalisti Sports (Sportswriters Association) is organising a photographic exhibition with the collaboration of ILab Photo.

Some of the best local sports photographers are taking part in the exhibition, which is being held under the patronage of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Angelo Farrugia. It is being held at Parliament House in Valletta between yesterday and Wednesday 8th March.

Seventy five photos are being exhibited. They were all taken by 11 photographers who are all members of the Ghaqda Gurnalisti Sports (GHGS). The photos cover several disciplines and local and international sports events during the past months or years.

The work, including the printing of the photos, has been done professionally by ILab Photo of Birkirkara.

The exhibition was opened yesterday, on the same day the AIPS Europe executive committee was holding a meeting here. AIPS Europe is the association repre- senting European sports journalists.

The official opening was made by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Angelo Farrugia, in the presence of Mr Lev Rossoshik, the vice president of AIPS Europe.

The public is invited to visit the exhibition of such high level sports photos.
