Draught in a can − Blue Label Smooth & Creamy may now be enjoyed from the comfort of your home

The renowned Blue Label Smooth & Creamy has just been launched in a 44cl can allowing loyal drinkers to enjoy this special ale from the comfort of their own home. This is possible through an inbuilt widget technology that releases just the right amount of nitrogen to create the perfect surge and distinct smooth and creamy finish, which to date has only been available on draught in selected outlets across the island. “This launch marks yet another milestone for us here at Farsons Brewery, and more specifically for Blue Label,” said Karl Bondin, Brand manager Beers at Simonds Farsons Cisk. “This is also the next step in our long-term vision to increase the brand’s presence in both the local and export markets.”

Martin Polidano, head brewer at the Farsons Brewery added: “The ingredients making up the recipe of this brew have remained the same over the years and the beer is brewed using the same technique. However, Blue Label is now a more concentrated brew, with a fuller body and a higher alcohol level, resulting in a stronger and full-bodied taste profile with a richer taste and aroma.”

Blue Label Original Amber Ale is top-fermented ale, hopped and mixed with a special type of mild malt that gives the richly coloured ale a unique, surprisingly smooth and mild taste arising from its medium hop bitterness. Contains distinctive chocolate and caramel notes with a hint of fruitiness. Blue Label Smooth & Creamy is the draught version of the original ale.

In November last year, Blue Label was awarded silver in the Pale & Amber Ale: Best Bitter category of the Brussels Beer Challenge.

Blue Label is brewed, packaged and distributed by Simonds Farsons Cisk. Blue Label Smooth & Creamy in a 44cl can is now available at major supermarkets and retail stores in Malta and Gozo.
