Deloitte Malta recognised as Malta Tax Firm of the Year 2017 by International Tax Review
On 18 May, Deloitte Malta was awarded Malta Tax Firm of the Year at the 2017 International Tax Review European Tax Awards, held at The Savoy in London. Nick Captur collected the award on behalf of the firm.
This is the fifth time that Deloitte Malta won this award, having also won the award in 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2015. The International Tax Review European Tax Awards are given to the firms and networks which demonstrate the most innovative client work in Europe.
Malcolm Booker, Deloitte Malta CEO, said: “We are very pleased to be recognised by the International Tax Review for our firm’s excellence. This award reflects our commitment to continuously build our technical capabilities and deliver high-value-added services that help our clients address their most difficult challenges in a rapidly changing tax environment. We are delighted to be acknowledged as the leading tax firm in Malta, reaffirming our global aspiration to become the undisputed leaders in professional services.”
The Deloitte network is very proud to again receive ITR’s recognition for its member firms’ excellence across so many tax disciplines throughout Europe.
Members of the Deloitte network won 24 ITR tax awards in total this year, more than any other organisation for work completed last year.
Deloitte Malta’s well-established tax practice supports multinationals with cross-border activities through Malta as well as significant national client groups operating in the Maltese economy. With seven tax directors and over 100 tax professionals, it remains the largest tax practice in Malta.
