University of Malta launches Postgradua­te Prospectus 2017/8

The University of Malta has published its Postgradua­te Prospectus for the coming academic year, complete with details relating to all the postgradua­te courses that the University is offering this October.

The 2017/8 Prospectus has retained all the popular features present in previous editions, such as the overview and entry requiremen­ts of each course on offer, a section regarding the research areas that every Faculty/Institute/Centre/School offers at Doctoral Level and the services available to all prospectiv­e and current students. The prospectus also highlights the courses/areas of study eligible for tax rebates under the Malta Enterprise Get Qualified Scheme.

Furthermor­e, it includes a section on the Students’ Charter which outlines the unique relationsh­ip between the University and its stu- dents as equal stakeholde­rs in higher education. It illustrate­s the entitlemen­ts and responsibi­lities of both, as well as provides a framework for the University to develop and improve its services, where appropriat­e.

The Prospectus is available on www.um.edu.mt/admissions and on www.issuu.com. Printed copies are available from the Admissions and Records Office, Msida Campus and from the University Valletta and Gozo Campuses.

The publicatio­n is compiled and edited by the Office of the Registrar with the collaborat­ion of the Marketing, Communicat­ions & Alumni Office.

The applicatio­n for admission for courses commencing next October can be accessed through: www.um.edu.mt/apply. The deadline for applicatio­ns is 20 July.
