Isle of MTV – Music Week is bringing back one of its biggest hits “the grind”

MTV International as part of the Isle of MTV Malta Music Week today announced that they will be hosting a special one-time edition of the hit ‘90s dance party, MTV’S THE GRIND for one night only …20 plus years later, on the Mediterranean island of Malta.

Those who spent their teenage years in the early nineties will remember the heavy basslines and beats that provided the soundtrack to the DJ-led events. With appearances and performances from the likes of the Spice Girls to Notorious B.I.G – MTV’s THE GRIND successfully ran internationally from 1992 to 1997.

If you like to dance and want to be in with a chance of attending this once-in-a-lifetime pool party, head down to Malta’s Sky Club, Triq Dragunara, San Ġiljan, in your most eye-catching swimwear. MTV representatives will be there from 12 noon to 8pm on Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th June. The panel of experts are looking for bundles of excitement, tons of energy and killer dance moves!*

Fans unable to make the event, hosted by MTV VJ Becca Dudley and co-hosted by Rio Fredrika, can still be a part of the action. MTV’s The Grind will stream LIVE on Facebook and www.isleofmtv.com from 3.30pm to 5pm CEST on Sunday 25th June.
