It also includes: publishing, journal- ism, sport, communication, politics, it also deals with issues of technical concern strictly aimed at IT professionals. In short, this event cuts across an extremely wide range of areas.

“The Web Marketing Festival has reached its fifth edition, it has become a unique reference point for the transfer of SEO, digital marketing, social and hi tech know-how in Italy - said Enry Di Giacomo, Vice Secretary General of the Maltese Italian Chamber of Commerce - and, I believe, one of the few in Europe, being partner and to promote an Italian event of such importance in Malta is a real honour for us; technologi- cal development, ingenuity and originality, Italy is also that. Giving 30 Maltese companies an opportunity to participate for a two-day training session on web marketing, will show other countries how important it is to be a protagonist of a future driven by innovation Made in Italy”.

This is a very rich training programme: with more than 20 thematic areas – The Web Marketing Festival edition of 2017 has been characterised by the vastness of its training programme, with the involvement of the main Italian and foreign web experts and interventions suitable for several basic and advanced targets. From Social Media Marketing to Web Analytics, from Content Marketing to SEO, up to Ecommerce and Non Profit: these will be some of the main issues which will animate the 20 thematic scheduled areas.

Cosmano Lombardo, chairman the Web Marketing Festival who built a real Digital Italian agora, explained – “On the occasion of the 5^ edition of the Festival, we move on from the work done in this last year. In order to make this an international event, we have made agreements with several international actors like the Maltese Italian Chamber of Commerce. The Start-up Competition is one of the main pro- tagonists which, focusing on “Made in Italy” innovation, is the real driving force behind our country’s social and economic revival and it could also be a very important trust factor on entrepreneurship. We want to make an important contribution to Digital sector by supporting projects of an innovative value. We’re going to do that by putting in place several opportunities for young companies looking for a real assistance”.
