We remain confident that through the local market knowledge and reputation of AVIAREPS we will manage to increase our presence in these key markets and attract new opportunities that will ultimately lead to new revenue streams.”

The Air Malta brand will not only be championed through a series of road-shows in various cities across Europe, but also be represented in one-to-one meetings conducted by experienced and dedicated sales representatives. Air Malta will support AVIAREPS through the implementation of an intensive sales programme aimed at strengthening its current relationship with the travel industry and together they will also establish new relationships with local market players.

In further co-operation with Air Malta, AVIAREPS will highlight, and then drive, sales of the airline’s ancillary services and products. AVIAREPS will also be extending Air Malta’s already highly successful Malta-based social media strategy to local markets in Europe.

Edgar Lacker, the chief executive officer of AVIAREPS, said: “We are honoured to be entrusted with deepening and extending the brand awareness and sale of Malta’s flag carrier within Europe. Our sales and marketing experts on the ground have well-established travel trade networks, specialisation and the passion to ensure Air Malta’s growth and success within these markets. We look forward eagerly to realizing those goals with Air Malta.”
