New Yakitori & Gin Bar by Zest launched at Hotel Juliani

-

Under the leadership of executive chef Noel Azzopardi, Zest Restaurant has launched a new culinary concept with the opening of a rooftop Yakitori and Gin Bar at Hotel Juliani, St Julian’s. The Yakitori and Gin Bar will be open throughout the summer from Tuesdays to Saturdays after 8pm.

Zest’s chefs offer a unique take on yakitori, a Japanese method of food preparation that sees fresh meat and seafood cooked to order over an open grill. Zest’s twist on this culinary tradition includes teppanyaki short rib, grilled pork belly, tiger prawns in a spicy sambal sauce and Asianherbed veal sausage.

Eastern flavours are complemented by Bombay Sapphire gin and tonic’s, with refreshing flavour combinations like corian- der and chilli or strawberry and pepper. Visitors can also expect breath-taking views of Spinola Bay from Hotel Juliani’s luxuriously finished rooftop pool lounge.

This year, Expedia named Hotel Juliani one of the Top 100 Boutique Hotels in the World, and the hotel earned its sixth consecutive TripAdvisor Travellers Choice award, placing it among the world’s top 1% of hotels (TripAdvisor, 2017).

Hotel Juliani is also part of National Geographic’s Luxury Collection.

Opened in 2002 as the first Asian fusion restaurant in Malta, Zest continues to introduce new culinary concepts to Malta with the launch of this new concept bar.
