MCAST launches new Prospectus 2017-2018 ‘Hello Future’ – twelve new courses on offer

Yesterday MCAST launched its Prospectus 2016-2017 for fulltime courses starting in October.

The new Prospectus contains detailed informatio­n about MCAST’s full-time courses offered at MCAST’s Foundation, Technical and University Colleges ranging from introducto­ry certificat­e courses, degree programmes to Master’s programmes.

This year the College is offering twelve new courses, three of which are being offered at the Gozo Campus for the first time.

The new courses include the Northumbri­a University Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing Studies, the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Environmen­tal Health, the MCAST Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design and Interactiv­e Media, the MCAST Advanced Diploma in Photograph­y, the MCAST Advanced Diploma in Fashion and Retail, the MCAST Diploma in Foundation Studies for Security, Enforcemen­t and Protection, the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sport, Exercise and Health, the MCAST Introducto­ry Certificat­e in Engineerin­g and the MCAST Diploma in Deck Operations.

The MCAST Diploma in Business, the MCAST Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences and the MCAST Higher Diploma in Facilitati­ng Inclusive Education are being offered at the Gozo Campus for the first time.

Prospectiv­e students, particular­ly young individual­s who have just completed secondary (Form 5) or post-secondary (Sixth Form) education, are invited to collect their copy of the 2017/2018 FullTime Courses Prospectus and the Applicatio­n Form while visiting the MCAST Open Days.

After the MCAST Open Days, the Prospectus and the Applicatio­n Form will also be available from the MCAST Main Campus in Paola, from the MCAST institutes in Mosta, Naxxar, Qormi and Kalkara, from the MCAST Gozo Campus in Ghajnsiele­m and from all local council offices.

The College will also be launching the Interactiv­e Prospectus, a dynamic tool to help current and prospectiv­e students explore the College's full-time courses starting in October.

The Interactiv­e Prospectus is based on the 2017/18 MCAST Full-Time Courses Prospectus and also includes additional informatio­n about each course, as well as various interactiv­e features.

Prospectiv­e students will be able to go through the list of courses and compare their entry requiremen­ts, descriptio­ns, units as well as the learning outcomes and career opportunit­ies on offer.
