GO thanks employees for successful EU Presidency

GO’s ongoing investment in infrastructure and the technical expertise of its employees significantly contributed to Malta’s successful recent tenure of the EU Presidency.

As the official communications provider for the Presidency, GO delivered communication services to hundreds of delegates and journalists attending meetings and events in Malta including fibre internet, Wi-Fi and 4G, as well as television and telephony services. GO also provided a state-of-the-art video-conferencing solution at the Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta and at Dar Malta in Brussels.

GO’s ongoing investment in infrastructure and technical expertise are also delivering benefits to the whole of Malta. This was recently confirmed by independent research conducted by the German consultancy firm, Net Check. This research showed that GO has the fastest mobile network in Malta with average speeds which are double those available in Germany.
