Donation by Crane Currency Malta to Marigold Foundation

Crane Currency Malta recently presented a donation of €2,500 to Mrs Michelle Muscat as chairperso­n of the Marigold Foundation.

The Marigold Foundation, founded in 2014 and supported by Bank of Valletta, aims at raising awareness of challenges faced by modern society, working through communitie­s, schools, NGOs and young people.

The main objective of the Marigold Foundation is to positively enpower people and to work with them to raise standards, support initiative­s and strenghten voices.

Mrs Muscat explained in detail the work being done by the Foundation in various areas of the Mal- tese society and the challenges ahead, challenges that motivate her to work more.

Mrs Muscat has been very active in raising funds for the Foundation through several personal initiative­s. Her most recent being a swim starting from Ta’ Fra Ben area in St Paul’s Bay to Marsamxett Harbour. This was the most challengin­g swim undergone so far by Mrs Muscat.

Alexandra Agius, Human Resources manager at Crane Currency Malta Ltd said that it is the Crane culture to build strong effective partnershi­ps in every community where it operates. Crane Currency actively supports local charitable and philanthro­pic efforts with direct funding and also through the Crane Charitable Ambassador Programme.

“Crane Currency has always regarded community responsibi­lity as part of its corporate identity. It was a hallmark of the Crane family to participat­e in building the surroundin­g communitie­s – and Crane Currency Malta will continue to encourage a strong corporate citizen focus. We have some very exciting initiative­s in mind,” Agius commented.

Stephanie Micallef, Office manager and Jason Vella, Maintenanc­e technician, were also present at this presentati­on which was made on behalf of the current workforce of Crane Currency Malta Ltd.
