The Palace, Sliema named as Malta’s Leading Business Hotel at World Travel Awards
Malta’s five-star luxury hotel The Palace, Sliema was voted as Malta’s Leading Business Hotel at the 24th edition of the World Travel Awards which were held recently in the hosting city, St Petersburg, Russia. The glittering event took place in the Marble Hall of the Russian Museum of Ethnography with hundreds of hospitality leaders from across the region in attendance.
The World Travel Awards programme was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. These awards have been described as the Oscars of the travel industry by The Wall Street Journal and the winners are selected on an annual basis by an international panel of hospitality experts, trade professionals and the public.
No doubt this prestigious award holds much more significance for The Palace, as the hotel is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Since 2007, this hotel has con- solidated its reputation as one of Malta’s most well-known fivestar accommodation options with both travellers and locals.
Kevin Callus, the general manager of The Palace, stated: “We are honoured to be the recipients of such a prestigious award. It emphasises the exceptional level of professionalism, competence and attention that our teams deliver every day when looking after our guests’ requirements. Additionally, being acknowledged as Malta’s Leading Business Hotel during the same year when we are celebrating our 10th anniversary makes us enormously proud. We are determined to maintain our incomparable levels of service to all guests.”
The Palace is situated in the heart of Sliema and is highly rated for its services, gastronomy, organisation, professionalism and surroundings. The unparalleled standards and facilities make The Palace the ideal option for business and leisure guests alike.
