BNF Bank supports ninth edition of the President’s Solidarity Fun Run

For the ninth year running, BNF Bank will be the main sponsor of the President’s Solidarity Fun Run, which will be uniting people of all ages and from all walks of life on Sunday, 19 November.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation which provides financial, material and professional support to all those suffering from chronic illness.

“Solidarity runs high during the Fun Run which, year after year, shows an increase in participation, enthusiasm and generosity to raise funds with which the MCCFF can continue its important work and help alleviate the difficulties faced by those individuals, families and segments of society who are in need,” said Michael Collis, chief Executive officer and managing director of BNF Bank. “As always, the bank will be lending its full support by accepting applications at its branches, in the build-up to the event.”

Co-organised by SportMalta, this year’s edition will depart from four points – Rabat (Saqqajja Hill) for the runners and Santa Venera, University and Paola Square for those who will be walking. All routes will pass through several villages leading to St George’s Square in Valletta, where the crowd will meet in jubilation after the event.

Fun Run applications are available and can be collected from all BNF branches, the MCCFF offices at The Palace in Valletta, the President’s Palace at San Anton, Maltco offices, or online at www.mccf.store

A special commemorative T-shirt will be given to all those attending, together with a bib which entitle all holders to free public transport from 7am till 2pm.
