991 MCAST University College students graduate
MCAST celebrates the graduation of 991 students who successfully completed their Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma within MCAST’s University College last year. The ceremonies, which have already started, come to an end on 12 December. During the nine ceremonies, 330 students will be conferred with degrees while another 661 receive their Higher National Diploma or other MQF Level 5 certificates.
Nine ceremonies take place between the 29th and the 12th of December.
On Wednesday of last week 29 students that successfully completed the MCAST Higher Certificate in Inclusive Education were awarded certificates. And on Friday, 1 December students from the Institute of Engineering and Transport (Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Building and Construction) received certificates.
This week students from the Institute of Engineering and Transport (Mechanical Engineering), the Institute for Applied Sciences (Centre for Agriculture, Aquatics & Animal Sciences), the Institute of Community Services, the Institute of Applied Sciences, the Institute of Business Management and Commerce and the Institute of Information and Communication Technology received certificates.
Next week students from the Institute for the Creative Arts and the Institute of Information and Communication Technology will graduate.
During the ceremonies the Col- lege also presented awards for Outstanding Performance to students who excelled during their studies at the College.
Dr Silvio De Bono, president MCAST Board of Governors; Stephen Cachia, MCAST principal and CEO; Vince Maione, MCAST vice-principal; Ronald Curmi, MCAST registrar; Dr Ing. Alex Rizzo, head of University College together with other MCAST officials, presented the certificates to the students.
