Mapfre MSV Life has renewed its support to Business Leaders Malta as a Gold Sponsor of their annual conference. This year’s theme is Breaking the rules and the organisers have announced that they are expecting a full house at this year’s event with the conference theme and content having generated a lot of interest and expectation among delegates.

Speaking during the presentation of the Mapfre MSV Life sponsorship, Morgan Parnis, CEO of Business Leaders Malta said: “Push boundaries. Break the norm. Throw out the rule book! The theme of our ninth annual BLM conference entitled Break the rules will explore how extraordinary people behind extraordinary companies have brought disruption and innovation to our world not only by going above and beyond but by being above and beyond.”

Parnis announced that BLM is looking forward to host over 350 business people to a sold-out conference tomorrow, 23 February.

“We are delighted to support the Business Leaders Conference for the sixth consecutive year,” said Michael Galea, chief Business Development officer at Mapfre MSV Life. “As the leading provider of life insurance solutions in Malta, we are pleased to support this event which has built for itself a reputation of present- ing participants with thoughtprovoking content. The conference will also present a top level panel of local and international speakers contributing to strategic thinking within the business community in our country,” said Galea. He added that delegates can find out more about Mapfre MSV Life’s range of employee benefit solutions by visiting the company’s stand during the conference.

Parnis said that during this year’s Business Leaders Malta conference, delegates will be hearing about some interesting findings about the different generations in the workforce. “Based on our understanding that companies are having to deal with multiple generations at the workplace, we commissioned a study to gauge the current situation of the labour market. Knowing the similarities and differences that exist between generations X, Y and Z will help organisations to plan their next move when it comes to attracting, engaging, retaining and developing talent,” Parnis said.

The conference speakers will include Debra Searle, a professional adventurer and serial entrepreneur; Spencer Waldron, European Regional director of prezi.com; John Peters, a former RAF pilot and Dr David Darmanin, CEO of Hotjar.
