Equiom Malta flies the flag at upcoming yachting and aviation conference­s

Experts from Equiom’s yachting and aviation team will be attending the Opportunit­ies in Supery- achts and Opportunit­ies in Business Jets events at the Interconti­nental Hotel in St Julian’s this week.

Chris Cini, Legal director at Equiom Malta and Ayuk Ntuiabane, VAT director from Equiom Solutions Isle of Man will be attending both events and Mark Young, senior manager of Yachting & Aviation at Equiom Malta will be attending Opportunit­ies in Superyacht­s.

Ayuk will take the stage at the first conference with a presentati­on on the topic Did the Paradise Papers scandal signal a change in the way business jets are registered and owned?

On day two, Chris will be hosting a roundtable discussion about A brief overview of flag registries and Ayuk will participat­e in a panel discussion on The impact of Brexit on the superyacht industry.

Cini commented: “Both conference­s have an excellent line-up of speakers and topics. With potential large scale change on the horizon, it will be interestin­g to hear what kind of impact on yachting and aviation is predicted as a result of events like Brexit and the Paradise Papers. I am looking forward to a stimulatin­g and informativ­e discussion.”
