International speakers for first B2B Expo Malta announced
The B2B Expo Malta, organised by the Ministry for the Economy, Investment and Small Businesses, will feature international speakers Sir Clive Woodward, the Head Coach who led England’s rugby players to win the World Cup in 2003; Sahar Hashemi, OBE and entrepreneur best known for building two famous brands–Coffee Republic and Skinny Candy; and Chris Moss, founder of the Orange Brand, creator of Virgin Atlantic’s ‘Magic Moments’ and former 118 118 Chief Executive.
The speakers were announced yesterday by Minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Businesses Chris Cardona at a press conference during which the complete line up for the B2B Expo was revealed. The conference will also feature masterclass sessions held by field experts and professionals on challenges and opportunities that modern businesses come across. Topics include digital transformation fundamentals, the importance of data in businesses, an introduction on business use cases on blockchain, and marketing uses of LinkedIn by Jason Miller—Content and Social Marketing Leader at Linkedin.
In its commitment to advance a competitive economic environment and create new opportunities for SMEs, the ministry identified the lack of such events catering for all industries in the local market and is organising the Expo to fill this necessary niche in an ever-growing economy. The conference will bring together local seasoned business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, and new start-ups in a networking and learning environment for those seeking solutions to build their businesses.
“Our country boasts a wide range of talented economic players and we look forward to bringing them together under one roof, possibly leading to them having new commercial ventures, establishing the next step in their commercial strategy and new investment”, Minister Cardona stated.
The B2B Expo will be held on the 1st of June and entrance is free of charge. The complete line-up and free registration is available at www.b2bexpomalta.com.
