Air Malta grows whilst passengers save

This year Air Malta has successful­ly increased its sales by 30%. To celebrate this milestone the Maltese airline launched a discount of up to 30% on fares for its Go Smart product. The offer is open on 23 routes for a week until 28 May.

Commenting on this promotion Paul Sies, Air Malta’s chief Commercial officer said: “We are really pleased that we have sold 30% more seats over last year. Our growth strategy of offering more frequencie­s to our establishe­d routes and the introducti­on of 19 new routes across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East is making the Maltese Islands more accessible and attractive for leisure and business travellers.

This achievemen­t signifies our full commitment and continuous support to the local tourism industry and other economic interests by increasing connectivi­ty to the Maltese Islands through the introducti­on of new scheduled services to major airport hubs.”

The 30% discount is applicable on selected flights to and from Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Paris Orly, Lyon, Marseille, Tunis, Casablanca, Tel Aviv, London Gatwick, Munich, Frankfurt, Catania-Vienna, Fiumicino, Catania, Linate, Venice, Palermo, Comiso, London Southend, Cagliari, Catania-London Southend and Cagliari-London Southend.

This offer is also valid for travel in the popular months of summer, from 1 June until 31 August on all Go Smart fares. Air Malta’s Go Smart Fare offers great value for money since it includes a free 23kg checked in luggage. Seats are subject to availabili­ty.
