Global Gaming appoints Michael Gatt as Malta CFO
Stockholm-listed online gambling group Global Gaming has confirmed the promotion of Michael Gatt to the newly created role of Operational Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Malta.
Gatt joins Global Gaming’s senior management team, having previously served the Stockholm enterprise as Group Finance Manager (2017 – 2018).
Acting as Operational CFO, Gatt will be tasked with lead- ing the financial planning and budgetary maintenance of Global Gaming’s growing Maltese subsidiary.
“I am proud but also pleased by this vote of confidence and the new responsibilities that come with the new role. I am looking forward to being part of this talented management team,” said Gatt.
Global Gaming Group CFO Christoffer Tell will continue to be a part of the manage- ment team but will shift his focus more towards governance, investor relations and working more actively in M&A-related matters.
“Michael has worked hard and has certainly proven his worth over the past year,” said CFO Christoffer Tell. “So I feel very confident in handing over part of my areas of responsibility to him. This new division of responsibilities will allow me to make more effective use of resources and focus on developing the company. This, in turn, means we’ll be more agile and responsive when the right opportunities arise.”
