The funds were raised during a monthlong campaign at the airline which included a cupcake bake sale organised by the airline’s Sports and Social Club.

During a short speech Mrs Muscat encourage staff members to face their fears and regularly check-up themselves. She spoke against the stigma surrounding various types of cancer and the need to speak more about this subject. She emphasised that the government gives a lot of free support and assistance to facilitate this screening and it is up to each and every one of us to continuously monitor our wellbeing.
