Battle of the Brains

-

Malta University Sports & Leisure is organising Battle of the Brains, an annual quiz night with a difference, on Friday, 26 July at Saracino’s, Attard, starting at 7pm.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support research in ALS through The University of Malta Research Innovation & Development Trust. Furthermore a fundraising raffle will also be held on the night from which all proceeds will be donated to support research in ALS. There will be some great prizes on the night including weekend breaks, flights and meals.

Readers are being invited to join in, have a good laugh with friends while trying to find out who really is the smartest and simultaneously show support for this worthy cause.

The event is an ideal night out with a difference for families and groups of friends. It’s also a great team-building opportunity for companies to meet up and put their mental skills to the test in a relaxed environment.

For those who would like to take part, the closing date is Wednesday, 24 July at noon.

Included in the price are a free drink as well as free-flowing water, a plate of cheesy garlic bread and two pizzas per team. Teams of 5/6 people are entitled to an additional pizza. Other food and drinks will be available for purchase. Teams should be made up of three to six people.

The quiz will be split into numerous rounds all set to test a different area/skill but we promise it won’t be your typical question and answer test. We’ve got quite a few surprises up our sleeve to truly make you sweat. There are great prizes to be won but above all we promise oodles of laughter and tons of fun.

Tickets cost €12 per person and may be bought online from https://www.universitysportsandleisure. com/ product/ battlebrains.
