Green Jade picks up Malta B2B licence
The Malta Gaming Authority has approved a request by Green Jade Games to secure a B2B licence.
The online casino content developer and supplier is already based out of Malta and the new licence will give it the ability to provide its products to local online gaming operators that offer their products to regulated markets in Europe and other places around the world.
The new licence is designed to help the company expand and to provide its products to all major online casino operators everywhere. The company has been pushing for increased operations as global online gaming continues to grow and Green Jade CEO Benedict McDonagh states that the licence will give the company the ability to offer its “truly unique and genuinely innovative games” so operators can attract more customers.
Green Jade offers a portfolio of online realmoney games and slot machines to companies across the globe. One of its most well-known titles, and its flagship offering, is Hammer of Fortune, which provides additional monetization mechanisms. The slot game contains a hammer that changes with each spin and which allows players knock symbols off the reels, resulting in additional chances to score pots and free spins.
Hammer of Fortune is making its appearance with CompetitionLabs for the first time. Green Jade announced last week that it was teaming up with the real-time engagement and gamification company in a partnership designed to offer enhanced player experiences. Green Jade’s games are going to begin to include new gamification tools, such as missions, achievements and rewards, and Hammer of Fortune is set to be the first gave to include the features.
Green Jade also received another licence recently, this one in the UK. The UK Gambling Commission approved its B2B licence request, paving the way for it to offer its products to regulated operators in the region. McDonagh said that the approval was a “major milestone in our journey as we look to establish Green Jade as a top game developer in regulated markets.”
Green Jade is the content studio of Mr Green, a gambling operator that was recently purchased by William Hill. That acquisition was completed in February, with the bookmaker paying $294.2 million to take ownership.
