Plans for another tower in Paceville have been submitted to the Planning Authority, the company PX Lettings announced on Wednesday.
The tower, which will rise 33-storeys, will be situated at the entrance to Paceville, occupying 1,100 square metres of space from a site of 3,400 square metres, with a plaza which is fully accessible to the public taking up the rest of the area.
The tower will include serviced apartments on its upper floors, a business centre in the lower part of the building, and ancillary retail and restaurant spaces to complement the public plaza. Parking facilities will also be provided to cater for the development.

INDIS Malta will assist in the completion of the renovation works at the Ta' Qali Artisan Village, Minister for the Economy and Industry Silvio Schembri announced.
INDIS Malta is responsible for the administration of government-owned industrial parks and related facilities around Malta and Gozo, as well as supporting and promoting their races, and completely does away with ornament and traditional double-skin cladding to present a strong, slim, sleek, and powerful silhouette.
They said that the building shall tap into the latest technological advancements to ensure environmental sustainability and seeks to achieve the globally recognised LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
“It is designed to perform within its environment, by placing all its service areas and cores on the south side to shield the habitable spaces against the harsh sun, while optimising the views of the Mediterranean Sea to the north.”
In a statement, PX Lettings said that the building is “inspired by the simplicity and stateliness of Malta’s Renaissance architecture.”
“This striking mono-material building is the result of a search for archifurther development.
"INDIS Malta has launched a framework agreement through which it will take responsibility on behalf of the artisans," Schembri remarked. This will be done so that they will hire the contractors at pre-established rates in order to complete the work at the Ta' Qali tectural purity and the elimination of all that is not essential.
