Calling all digital enterprises!

-

Representatives of companies, universities and research institutes worldwide working in the ICT sector and interested in sharing new project ideas and finding collaboration partners will be participating at the Horizon Europe Digital Brokerage Event, taking place virtually, next week, on 24th/25th June.

If you are a Maltese entrepreneur in the digital field, then this event is your unique networking opportunity, and your gateway to the newly-launched Horizon Europe funding programme. Throughout the two event days you will get the latest information from the European Commission and acquire new cross-border contacts, to initiate collaborations.

The event website enables you to identify those like-minded professionals, entrepreneurs and researchers from the online participants list, giving you immediate access to cooperation partners that will help you grow your business and tap European funding. Building quality networks and partnerships for participating in ICT calls, across the Horizon Europe programme, is an integral component of the growth plans of ambitious and innovative Maltese SMEs, but very often due to lack of resources or contacts, some companies find this step to be elusive.

In order to address this challenge faced by many of our SMEs, the Enterprise Eu

rope Network is liaising with Ideal-IST - the European network of National Contact Points for ICT research – to bring you this opportunity to discuss and develop new project ideas on ICT at international level, from the comfort of your office! Support is being offered to facilitate the setup of new project consortia for the upcoming Horizon Europe calls, with the additional possibility of promoting your research results, technologies and knowhow.

The focus will be on three specific Horizon Europe Digital streams, namely Destination 3: World Leading Data & Computing Technologies; Destination 4: Digital & Emerging Technologies for Competitiveness & Fit for the Green Deal; and Destination 6: A Human-centered and Ethical Development of the Digital & Industrial Technologies.

Bilateral meetings to discuss project collaboration on these thematics will be scheduled on 24th and 25th June and participants are free to choose their preferred meeting slots, depending on their availabilities. For those that are interested, there will be a separate session on 28th June dedicated to project idea consultations. This is a very interesting initiative whereby those that have a project idea can discuss it discreetly with Ideal-IST NCPs that will be available on the day to review your project ideas and offer expert recommendations.

The event is free of charge but strictly by registration via the website https://digital2021.ideal-ist.eu
