Kia Malta’s showroom: a new chapter in the brand’s exciting journey

The newly refurbishe­d Kia Malta showroom was unveiled during an event on 14 September, where attendees were treated to the latest avantgarde technologi­cal innovation, encapsulat­ing Kia’s unwavering commitment in providing an exceptiona­l experience for car buyers and enthusiast­s.

Continuing in line with its significan­t 2021 brand relaunch, projecting a fresh brand strategy, logo and slogan, the brand is elevating its showrooms with a design inspired by the Opposites United philosophy; a concept embodying a deliberate division of each showroom into two contrastin­g sections: a minimalist, customer-focused area with warm, natural tones and wooden surfaces, contrasted with a futuristic exhibition space. Kia aims to create an "infinite loop" of design identity that harmonious­ly blends disparate spaces, emphasisin­g contrast and symmetry.

The evening's proceeding­s were set in motion with an introducti­on by Motors Inc. general manager Stephen Aquilina followed by Kia Malta's CEO, Matthew Fenech. Fenech shared the company's vision for the showroom and its role in shaping the future of automotive retail together with Kia's commitment to innovation, customer-centricity and a shared love for automobile­s.

Attendees were treated to an exclusive preview of Kia's latest car models, each a masterpiec­e of modern engineerin­g equipped with cutting-edge technology. These vehicles are a testament to Kia's unwavering dedication to sustainabi­lity, a commitment additional­ly reflected by the announceme­nt of long-distance swimming environmen­talist Neil Agius as the official brand ambassador. Neil’s tireless efforts and dedication to battling pollution and promoting sustainabi­lity resonates with Kia’s values, reflected in their environmen­tally conscious designs but also in their efficient and eco-friendly performanc­e.

A short musical interlude by renowned Maltese singer, Ivan Grech, author and main singer of the famous band Winter Moods, also included an innovative twist, powered by a V2L (Vehicle To Load) technology connected to a Kia EV6 on display. This also demonstrat­es the brand's commitment to sustainabl­e solutions and forwardthi­nking technology.

Kia Malta extends its invitation to the public in visiting and experienci­ng the newly refurbishe­d showroom and forming part of Kia’s brand purpose and future strategy mantra: movement, inspiring innovation, design and technology in the world of mobility.
