Enhancing your company’s digital journey

-

Digitalisation represents a major challenge for many organizations. It requires a new way of thinking, a new way of leading, and a new way of doing business.

For successful businesses, digitalisation isn’t an option, it is a crucial advantage that allows them to compete and win. Recent, unforeseen external forces prove this. Maltese companies with strong digital strategies and capabilities have been better able to recover and grow again in international markets. Whether you’re looking to move to the cloud, enhance customer experience, or improve your cyber security, digital will be the critical success factor for your business.

If taking the first steps in your digital journey is proving a challenge, Malta Enterprise is here to help. Through its Enterprise Europe Network office, it offers this assessment service to help SMEs, in all sectors, to kick-off their digitalisation journey and to develop and implement a digital roadmap for their business.

In today’s globalised business environment, where digital developments are rapidly impacting the companies’ business models, it is crucial for SMEs to assess their digitalisation capacities and address any gaps that might be identified.

This service is a stand-alone service and comes at no financial cost to the company since it is being funded through an EU project.

Effectively digitalising your business can help you to increase efficiencies, enhance how you sell to customers, and develop new products and services. But when it comes to planning, it’s important to think beyond technology: your strategy, your people and culture, and your internal processes are all critical elements of your digital roadmap.

The proposed Digitalisation Assessment will enable the company to take this necessary snapshot and benefit from an analytical report prepared by a certified Assessor. The company will also receive a transformation action plan on how the company should ideally address the most crucial and urgent gaps. Details re potential funding support and international service providers, and the timeframe needed to effect identified digitalisation improvements, will be included in the action plan.

To supplement the transformation plan, clients will receive an ancillary benchmarking report, which will include the average answer provided by similar companies that have undertaken the assessment, Europe-wide. This benchmark will be supplied for each question and will give the company a very clear idea of how other similar businesses are faring.
