KM Malta Airlines receives over 250,000 bookings for summer

KM Malta Airlines has announced that bookings for travel in summer have already surpassed 250,000 seats sold, since the airline first opened for bookings on 4 December 2023.

"The 250,000 bookings represent 18% of the airline's summer seat capacity already sold," it said. The airline reported it is experienci­ng a very strong demand for both its value business class fares and for the very flexible economy fares.

"Bookings from European tour operators and Group sales have also been especially strong demonstrat­ing the demand for inbound travel to Malta."

A spokespers­on for the airline said that ticket purchases to date have exceeded the airline's expectatio­ns and demonstrat­es the attractive­ness of its new route strategy and the effectiven­ess of its new fare structures.

"The airline expects global travel to continue to show resilience during 2024 and travel to remain a priority for consumers especially for leisure travel. KM Malta Airlines would like to thank all its customers, travel trade organisati­ons and partner airlines for their support in achieving this fantastic start in sales for the new airline. The KM Malta Airlines Summer 2024 schedule will operate from 31 March until 26 October, with the airline serving 17 airports across 15 key European cities, namely Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Catania, Dusseldorf, London Gatwick, London

Heathrow, Lyon, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Prague, Rome, Vienna and Zurich. KM
