Car park opens for St Julian’s Festa

● Spinola Park offers festa discount of €2 per patron

-

Spinola Park will start welcoming guests for the first time this weekend to ease the parking problem during this year’s much-awaited St. Julian’s festa.

Patrons will be charged a discounted flat fee of €2 per car throughout the weekend, whenever they park.

This week will serve as the soft launch for the new car park, which is adjacent to the St. Julian’s Parish Church in Mikiel Ang. Borg Street. The car park connects to the Church by lift, offering quicker access to the road below.

The 450-space car park is only 150 metres from Spinola’s iconic Love monument, making it a convenient stop for those who want to enjoy the traditional celebrations.

The car park will soon be fully operational with license plate recognition technology and parking guidance technology; a first for Malta.

The car park forms part of the Spinola Park project which will be completed by the end of summer 2017 and will house state-of-theart office spaces, a food court, a Supermarket, retail outlets and residential units.

Spinola Park aims to deliver a high-quality working lifestyle with the comforts of being in a green, thoughtfully curated space.
