Second call for ITS full-time courses

Students will be able to register to all programmes available in Institute’s 201617 prospectus

The institute of Tourism Studies will be issuing a second call for applicatio­ns for entry into its full-time programmes of studies. Applicatio­ns will be received between 5, 6 and 7 September 2016 at the Institute’s main campus in St George’s Bay, St Julian’s.

Full-time courses at the Institute of Tourism Studies begin in October and prospectiv­e students who meet the necessary course requiremen­ts can apply to start their studies from the various entry points in the Institute’s academic progressio­n programme, as follows: • Foundation in Hospitalit­y and

Tourism;

• Certificat­e in Travel & Tourism; • Certificat­e in Rooms Division; • Certificat­e in Events & Leisure; • Certificat­e in Food Preparatio­n

& Production; • Higher National Diploma in

Hospitalit­y Management; and • Higher National Diploma in Tour Guiding. Consolidat­ing work from last year, the Institute’s various programmes of study are built around a streamline­d progressiv­e system whereby prospectiv­e students can enrol at the various entry points offer by the Institute’s progressio­n system and advance year after year until they attain the highest qualificat­ions available.

Applicatio­ns, duly filled and accompanie­d by all required documentat­ion must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office at the Institute of Tourism Studies in St Julian’s. The registrar’s Office at the Institute can also be contacted via email ( registrar.its@gov.mt) or calling (+356 23 793 231/2).
