PKF top executive appointed chairman of Forum of Firms

PKF’s Africa Regional Director and chairman of the International Professional Standards Committee (IPSC), Theo Vermaak, has been chair of the Forum of Firms since January 2015. He was re-elected chairman of the Forum of Firms for his first full term, specifically from 23 July 2016 to 22 July 2019. This is a great honour for both Mr Vermaak and PKF and the support and input the network provides to the Forum and the International Federation of Accountants.

The Forum of Firms (Forum) is an association of international networks of accounting firms that perform transnational audits. The objective of the Forum is to promote consistent and high-quality standards of financial reporting and auditing practices worldwide. The Forum brings together firms that perform transnational audits and involves them more closely with the activities of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) in audit and other assurance-related areas.
