Vogue Eyewear competition winner announced

Little had crossed Dr Carina Nagiah’s mind that her trip to the Valletta outlet of Tuaco Opticians last July would result in a fantastic journey to Los Angeles, California this autumn, as the winner of Vogue Eyewear’s Meet Me in Los Angeles competition.

The Vogue Eyewear competition, co-ordinated by Class Optical, the local distributors of the brand provided all customers who purchased Vogue Eyewear sunglasses or optical frames the chance to win a trip of a lifetime to the City of Angels, including a four-night stay and return flights for two persons.

As one of the outlets offering Vogue frames and sunglasses, Tuaco Opticians’ manager Adrienne Despott said: “Los Angeles is like Vogue Eyewear. It has a variety of shapes and colours and has a strong personality. People from all over the world feel comfortable in Los Angeles.”

On her return from Los Angeles, Dr Nagiah said: “I thoroughly enjoyed the city’s harmonic fusion of people, landmarks and lifestyle. Certainly the highlight of my L.A. visit was my two-day stay at Long Beach and this especially after experiencing L.A.’s vibrant character at Downtown L.A. and Beverley Hills.”
