Interconti­nental Malta appoints Roger Friggieri as Executive Chef

Roger Friggieri has recently been appointed as Executive Chef of InterConti­nental Malta. Mr Friggieri who is from Malta, has operated in the tourism industry for over 25 years across the globe.

With extensive experience, some of Roger’s previous appointmen­ts include Executive Chef of Corinthia Hotel Tripoli, Cluster Executive Chef of Radisson Blu, Mauritius, and Food and Beverage Director of Hugo’s Group where he has been pivotal in establishi­ng them as one of the premier restaurant and entertainm­ent groups on the Maltese Islands.

Mr Friggieri prides himself of his competitiv­e and profession­al personalit­y, his ability to lead by example and unstoppabl­e drive for perfection and detail. While discussing his new position he mentioned “I am thrilled to be joining a hotel with an already fantastic and well establishe­d reputation, it is truly an exciting opportunit­y for me lead this kitchen brigade and to become part of the InterConti­nental family”.
