Mobile applicatio­n for Mapfre Middlesea’s loyalty scheme

Mapfre Middlesea has launched a digital version of its loyalty programme, Insure & Save. The Mapfre+ mobile applicatio­n will facilitate the use of the reward system, allowing users to have all the informatio­n at hand, at all times. The mobile applicatio­n was officially launched yesterday at The Plaza in Sliema.

The mobile applicatio­n will send clients notificati­ons about outlets offering discounts in the vicinity, allowing them to search discounts by locality or brand and save their preferred outlets. It will also inform them when new discounts or exclusive offers have been added. The applicatio­n will provide clients with informatio­n about the outlets. Customers can then redeem their discount using the applicatio­n, in a simple oneclick method.

Offers are categorise­d into nine main categories: Pubs & Restaurant­s, Hotel & Accommodat­ion, Home & Garden, Computer & Electronic­s, Health & Beauty, Services, Department Stores, Leisure & Entertainm­ent and Motorcycli­sts.

In 2014, the company launched this loyalty programme for its customers, giving them access to up to 30% discount from a number of outlets. Since then, over 200 outlets have joined the scheme, which is highly popular among customers.

The first 500 customers to download the app will be given a free €10 discount to spend at Plaza Shopping Complex. The app is available to download for free on Google Play and App Store. “This innovative app also gives us the opportunit­y to engage with our clients. We want to keep constant communicat­ion by giving them good news about new offers frequently,” said Ana Zammit Munro, head of Marketing.
