Bank of Valletta launches new member offer for its American Express Platinum Card

-

Bank of Valletta has announced a new member welcome offer linked to its American Express Platinum International Currency Card. From now until 28 April, the bank is offering new customers, who are approved for an American Express Platinum Card, 50,000 American Express Membership Rewards points when they spend €5,000 or US dollars within their first six months of Card membership. That would be enough for a return economy flight from Malta to New York, Bangkok or Shanghai.

Ivo Camilleri, Executive Electronic Banking at Bank of Val- letta explained: “Bank of Valletta is the only financial services provider licensed to distribute the range of American Express branded cards locally. In this manner, the bank is giving its customers access to yet another card, in addition to debit and credit cards, thereby giving its card holders a broader spectrum of options from which to choose the card that best fits their lifestyle.”

When applying for a Card, consumers have the choice of selecting either a euro or US dollar account. No interest is charged on the Card Account as long as the bill is settled in full and in a timely manner every month. Terms and conditions apply.

The American Express Platinum Card offers the cardholder special benefits including the opportunity to enjoy airport lounge access, room upgrades with five-star hotel programmes and travel protection benefits for the member and their family. For further information about the current offer, as well as to inquire further about the range of American Express Cards offered through Bank of Valletta, go to any BOV branch or call BOV Customer Service Centre on 2131 2020.
