Motorcyclist falls two storeys into field after Swieqi crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured yesterday afternoon when he fell two storeys into a field after being involved in a crash in Swieqi.

A Honda CB400 driven by a 59-year-old man from Sliema was involved in a crash with an Opel Corsa on Ibrag Road at 1.30pm, the police said in a statement.

With the impact, the biker was thrown off the bike and fell the height of two storeys into a field at the side of the road. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car, a 30-year-old Italian, was unhurt.
