Costa D’Oro becomes the Italian national football team’s official partner
Costa d’Oro, a company specialising in non-filtered Extra Virgin olive oil based in Spoleto, has signed an agreement with the FIGC to become the Italian national team’s official partner.
Costa d’Oro will partner up with the Azzurri during their qualification games for the World Cup in Russia 2018, whilst their brand will also be present at friendlies and at the Casa Azzurri Italia.
“Correct sporting practice cannot be completed without a healthy diet and extra virgin olive oil is essential for us Italians,” said FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio. “As a federation we are particularly committed to defending the principles that we pass on to the youth and this partnership with Costa d’Oro gives us the opportunity to further an educational concept that we strongly believe in.”
The pursuit of positive wellbeing through a healthy diet and a high quality product is what Costa d’Oro strives for. These are some of the fundamental principles within the business in Spoleto and ones that are also shared by the FIGC. As of today, Costa d’Oro will become the first olive oil company to become an official partner of the Italian national team.
“We are convinced that this partnership between Costa d’Oro and the FIGC will create a great opportunity to share some of the values that the company has been pursuing for years,” said Costa d’Oro’s General Manager Ivano Mocetti. “Furthermore, this will allow us to share with the world two symbols of Italian excellence. One being represented by Costa d’Oro, who provide a product that is integral to Italy’s food culture and the other being the FIGC and the Italian National team, who are both recognised and admired all across the world.”
Costa D’Oro is represented in Malta by J. Calleja Import & Export Ltd.
