Piano competition and masterclasses in Malta

The Mediterranean Conference Centre and the European Foundation for the Support of Culture are joining forces to organise an international piano competition between 23 and 29 October at the Mediterranean Conference Centre. The members of the jury are performing artists as well as jury members in various competitions.

The competition has three age categories and includes special prizes for the best Maltese pianist and for the best perform- ance of the Maltese compulsory piece. Two Maltese composers will have their works included in the list of compulsory pieces for two categories.

The competition will be preceded by Masterclasses. This is a great opportunity for Maltese pianists and should not to be missed. The deadline for applications is 22 September. For more information visit http://www.mipf.eu/
