-

Homes of Quality hosted another successful golf tournament at the Royal Malta Golf Club with a record 150 participants competing for the coveted prize. At stake was, the best local tournament prize on offer, a trip for two to Tuscany (including green fees) to Tuscany’s Terme di Saturnia Golf Course.

Homes of Quality, as sole agents, are promoting Borgo Case Bardi, a newly launched private gated estate of traditional Tuscan houses with private gardens and a communal pool, located alongside the Terme di Saturnia Golf course and close to Tuscany’s stunning medieval Scansano village. This holiday was the coveted first prize of this, the prestigious HOQ golf tournament.

Luc Schembri took the honours of the 7th Edition of the tournament which has grown in popularity since its inception in 2007. As per previous events, the tournament included separate men's and women's Stableford competitions. The top 72 scores from two rounds then qualified for the final round that took place on Sunday 15 October.

The competition was fiercely contested, but it was Luc Schembri who came out on top scoring 79 Stableford points over the two rounds (38 plus 41), and winning by 2 points over Best Man Stephen Knights (40 plus 37). Best Lady honours were taken by Miho Karasawa with 74 points (39 + 35).

Prizes were presented by Grahame Salt, director of Homes of Quality, to the winners during the luncheon hosted by Homes of Quality at the Royal Malta Golf Club.
