Jobsplus work exposure and traineeship schemes
Jobsplus is offering the Work Exposure Scheme and the Traineeship Scheme to unemployed jobseekers in order to provide them with on-the-job training with an employer. Both schemes are co-financed by the European Social Fund.
The Work Exposure Scheme facilitates the transition, through hands-on training, into the jobseeker’s preferred employment for the duration of 12 weeks with an average of 20 hours per week.
On the other hand the jobseeker following a Traineeship Scheme will participate in on-the-job training with an employer as well as follow a formal training course offered by Jobsplus. The duration of this scheme varies between 14 to 16 weeks, on an average of 40 hours per week.
The participants of both schemes will be paid a training allowance by Jobsplus which is funded through the European Social Fund.
Both schemes have a twofold benefit: to help jobseekers enhance their employability skills by obtaining hands-on experience in a real work environment, and to give employers a great opportunity to train prospective future employees.
The Work Exposure Scheme and the Traineeship Scheme form part of the ESF.01.001 – Training for Employment Project which is co-financed by the European Social Fund.
