Levantina introduces new Sunday lunch set menu and afternoon tea

Levantina, the bistro and bakehouse in the heart of Mriehel, will be introducin­g its new Sunday lunch set menu as of this Sunday. Their Middle Eastern inspired menu will include slow cooked beef ribs, Iberico pork cheeks braised with basra date syrup, Baharat spiced leg of lamb and pulled lamb shanks in brioche bun with dill yogurt and rucola.

This will be offered together with the a la carte menu which includes their mezze selection such as the Turkish muhammara, Beirut falafels, whipped feta and beef koftas. Their main courses are inspired from north Africa and the middle east and include their bestsellin­g chicken tagine and tamarind Persian spiced prawn curry.

Levantina which is also renowned for its delicious cakes have introduced Sunday afternoon tea by booking only. Try the Egyptian basbousa semolina cake, tahini halva brownies or orange blossom infused scones.

Levantina, which is managed by Silvana Callus Mizzi, besides offering business lunches from Monday to Friday, has also managed to attract foodies to enjoy their food in the evenings from Wednesday to Saturday.

Sunday lunch will be served from 12.30am to 3pm, while the bistro is open for dinner from 6pm to 10pm. Deliveries are now been made throughout the week both at lunch-time as well as for dinner.
