PD to submit amendments to eliminate injustices in pension law

The Partit Demokratiku will be submitting changes to the pension law in order to “remove cruel injustices” and for the government to implement what it promised in its election manifesto.

Writing on Facebook, PD MP Marlene Farrugia said that the party will be demanding justice for all, including women who raise their children only to end up with a low pension.

In its election manifesto, the Labour Party had pledged to remove anomalies in the law that adversely affected many women. The PD will now be presenting amendments in order that these anomalies can be corrected.
