RE/MAX Malta first to introduce virtual reality technology to Maltese real estate market

-

RE/MAX Malta is introducing a gamechanging new technology to its website that allows buyers to take a 360-degree online virtual tour of a property.

As the first to introduce VR technology to the real estate market in Malta, RE/MAX Malta will offer potential homeowners a real-life feel of the property using the technology, without the need for them to be there in person.

Although similar, low quality, property-viewing tools are available online, none currently offer the fully immersive experience provided through this latest breakthrough technology. Using advanced technology similar to that used by Google for Google Streetview, this VR approach brings true-to-life colour tones and unprecedented floorto-ceiling definition to virtual property tours.

Representing a major investment, RE/MAX Malta will offer these property tours in its Exclusive listing packages, which also offers staging and photography to complement the service.

The project is being led by the franchise owner of RE/MAX Central James Busuttil, and managed by CaruanaCarabez Concepts, a company that already provides photography, 3D imagery and staging services to RE/MAX Malta exclusively. The founder of CaruanaCarabez Concepts, Fiona Caruana Carabez, commented: “It is a pleasure to announce our latest investment, which truly places my company, as well as RE/MAX Malta, at the forefront of the industry.”

RE/MAX is currently testing the technology and will launch it via YouTube and Facebook in the coming weeks, before introducing it on the company website. RE/MAX Malta COO Jeff Buttigieg said: “This technology is the future of viewing homes in the real estate industry, and we are happy to be the first to bring it to the real estate market here. Having finally discovered technology that matches the high standards we hold at RE/MAX, this will enable us to continue to lead the real estate industry on the island.”
